Bill overview
The DMEPOS Relief Act of 2025 aims to provide temporary relief to Medicare beneficiaries who rely on durable medical equipment (DME). Specifically, it extends a higher payment rate, known as the 75/25 blended rate, for DME in areas outside of rural and noncontiguous regions through December 31, 2025. This extension prevents a potential reduction in payments for DME suppliers serving these areas. The bill delays the implementation of another payment adjustment until 2026.
