Bill overview
This bill authorizes the Secretary of Agriculture to move a memorial currently honoring the nine Air Force crew members who died in a 1982 plane crash to a new location on the Cherohala Skyway in North Carolina. The memorial will be relocated to the Stratton Ridge rest area, but no federal funds will be used for the move, installation, or maintenance. The private landowner and the individual requesting the memorial will be responsible for all associated costs and must adhere to any conditions set by the Secretary.
