A BILL
To modify certain definitions under the Export Control Reform Act of 2018.
This Act may be cited as the
Addressing Dangerous Vulnerabilities in Exports and Research to Strategic Adversaries, Regimes, and Industrial Entities of Security Concern Act
.ADVERSARIES Act
Section 1742 of the Export Control Reform Act of 2018 (50 U.S.C. 4801) is amended—
in paragraph (5)—
by striking means—
and all that follows through (A) any natural person
and inserting the following:
any natural person
by adding or
at the end of clause (i) (as so designated);
by striking (B) any corporation
and inserting the following:
by striking the period at the end of clause (ii) (as so designated) and inserting ; or
; and
by adding at the end the following:
each entity identified pursuant to section 1260H(a) of the William M. (Mac) Thornberry National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2021 (10 U.S.C. 113 note) to be a Chinese military company;
each entity identified pursuant to Supplement No. 7 to part 744 of title 15, Code of Federal Regulations, or successor regulations by the Bureau of Industry and Security of the Department of Commerce;
in paragraph (6), by striking foreign
