Bill overview
This bill requires the Department of Homeland Security to create at least two Joint Operations Centers along the U.S.-Mexico border. These centers will serve as hubs for coordinating operations between federal, state, local, and tribal agencies to combat various criminal activities, including drug and human trafficking, transnational crime, and illegal border crossings. The Centers will also facilitate information sharing and workforce coordination among these agencies.
