Bill overview
The Trump Tariff Transparency Act requires the Small Business Administration to regularly report on the costs of tariffs imposed on consumers and small businesses. Specifically, the administration must publish quarterly reports starting 90 days after the bill’s enactment, detailing the average cost of tariffs since January 20, 2025. A final annual report will also be produced, calculating the total cost of these tariffs to consumers and small businesses. This aims to increase transparency regarding the economic impact of tariffs.
