Bill overview
The Our Parks Act aims to make visiting national parks and wildlife refuges more accessible by waiving entrance fees on Federal holidays. This bill amends the Federal Lands Recreation Enhancement Act to allow the Secretary of the Interior to exempt entrance fees during these holidays. The goal is to encourage more people to enjoy these public lands without the cost of a park entrance fee. This change applies to all units within the National Park System and National Wildlife Refuge System.
