Bill overview
This bill directs the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) to study how the tech industry is currently working to keep children safe online. The FTC will investigate various efforts, including educational programs, parental controls, and content labeling, and assess their effectiveness in reducing online harms for minors. Based on its findings, the FTC must then submit a report with recommendations to Congress and other agencies on how to improve online safety for young people.
