Bill overview
This bill directs the Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN) to create an advisory aimed at identifying and reporting suspicious financial activity related to the procurement of firearms and accessories by individuals involved in domestic terrorism or homegrown violent extremism. The advisory will focus on how these individuals acquire weapons to carry out acts of terror within the United States. FinCEN must consult with law enforcement agencies and firearm sellers before requesting information and will report back to Congress if sufficient data isn't collected to create the advisory.
