Overview
This bill requires the Secretaries of the military departments to develop comprehensive master plans for each of the Service Academies (West Point, Naval Academy, Air Force Academy, and Coast Guard Academy). These plans must address infrastructure needs, including identifying and planning for repairs or replacements of aging facilities, assessing risks from energy disruptions, extreme weather, cybersecurity, and water availability. The plans are due by September 30, 2027, and the Secretaries must provide briefings and copies to the relevant congressional committees.
