Bill overview
This bill requires the Secretaries of the military departments to develop comprehensive master plans for each of the military service academies (West Point, Naval Academy, Air Force Academy, and Coast Guard Academy). These plans must assess current infrastructure needs, prioritize replacements or renovations for aging facilities, and address potential risks like energy disruptions, extreme weather, cybersecurity threats, and water availability. The plans are due by September 30, 2027, and the Secretaries must provide briefings and copies to the relevant congressional committees.
