Bill overview
This bill, the No More Narcos Act, aims to protect young people from being recruited by drug cartels and other transnational criminal organizations. It will establish a national campaign to educate middle and high school students near the U.S.-Mexico border about the dangers of these groups, and requires the Homeland Security Secretary to develop a broader national strategy to combat this recruitment. The bill also allocates funds from the Department of Justice Assets Forfeiture Fund to support these initiatives.
