Bill overview
The Aviation Funding Stability Act of 2025 aims to ensure continued funding for the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) during government shutdowns. If a regular appropriations bill or continuing resolution isn't enacted before the start of a fiscal year, funds from the Airport and Airway Trust Fund will automatically continue to support FAA programs and activities at the same rate as the previous year. This funding will remain available until either a regular appropriations bill or a continuing resolution is passed, or 30 days after a shutdown begins.
