Bill overview
This bill directs the Treasury Department to create commemorative coins honoring the women who contributed to the U.S. war effort during World War II, often referred to as ‘Rosie the Riveters.’ All sales of these coins will include a surcharge that goes directly to the Rosie the Riveter Trust to support the National Park Service’s work at the Rosie the Riveter WWII Home Front National Historical Park. The coins will come in various denominations, including gold, silver, and half-dollars, and will be designed in consultation with relevant committees.
