Bill overview
This bill, the Stop Crimes Against Children Act, aims to strengthen the federal government’s efforts to prevent and combat crimes against children. It does this by requiring the National Strategy for Child Exploitation Prevention and Interdiction to coordinate with nonprofit organizations and higher education institutions to share best practices and provide guidance. The bill also directs federal, state, local, and tribal law enforcement agencies to promote and implement these best practices in preventing, identifying, and responding to these crimes.
