Bill overview
This bill establishes a Center for Conflict Analysis, Planning, and Prevention within the Department of State. The goal is to improve the U.S. government’s understanding and response to global conflicts, particularly violent ones, and to better support peace negotiations. The Center will provide analytical expertise and strategic planning to the State Department, helping to inform foreign policy and resource allocation, and will also support training for Foreign Service officers.
