The Fast Vets Act changes how the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) handles vocational rehabilitation plans for veterans with disabilities. Currently, the VA must regularly review these plans. This bill allows the VA to redevelop a veteran’s plan if their employment handicap has changed and a different plan is more likely to help them find a job. It also gives the VA the authority to disapprove redevelopment if it’s not appropriate.
