Bill overview
This bill, the Grizzly Bear State Management Act, directs the Secretary of the Interior to re-establish a previous rule that removed the grizzly bear population in the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem from the list of endangered and threatened species. Specifically, it requires the Fish and Wildlife Service to reissue the 2017 rule without considering any legal challenges to it. The bill also prevents any lawsuits from being filed against the reissued rule.
