Bill overview
This bill, the Black Vulture Relief Act of 2025, allows livestock producers and their employees to take action against black vultures to protect livestock from damage or death. It authorizes them to capture, kill, disperse, or transport vulture carcasses, or to injure a vulture while attempting to do so, provided they don't use poison. The bill also requires producers to submit annual reports to the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service detailing vulture removals.
