Bill overview
The Dennis and Lois Krisfalusy Act aims to broaden access to veteran headstones and markers for families. Currently, benefits for spouses, children, or dependents of deceased veterans were limited to those who died on or after November 11, 1998, when remains were unavailable. This bill removes that date restriction, making these benefits available to those who lost a veteran or military member before that date, regardless of the circumstances surrounding their death.
