Bill overview
This bill, known as the WHO Withdrawal Act, seeks to immediately remove the United States from the World Health Organization (WHO). It instructs the President to initiate the withdrawal process and prohibits the use of any federal funds for U.S. participation in the WHO or any related organizations. Furthermore, the bill repeals a 1948 law that authorized the U.S. to join the WHO.
