Overview
The Responsible Legislating Act makes a variety of changes to federal programs and regulations. It extends livestock market reporting requirements, revises credit union board meeting schedules, and reauthorizes NASA’s enhanced-use leasing authority. The bill also includes provisions related to retirement accounts, such as increasing the maximum Roth IRA contribution and modifying rules for student loan payments as elective deferrals, and addresses foreign investment and ownership. Finally, it includes provisions related to employee disability and apprenticeship programs.
