Bill overview
This bill requires the Department of Education to provide more information about career and technical education (CTE) programs to students applying for federal financial aid. Specifically, the Department must publish data on CTE programs, including completion times, costs, and employment rates, as well as information about state-level funding opportunities. The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) will also include a section acknowledging that CTE programs are a potential alternative to a traditional four-year degree.
