Bill overview
This bill aims to increase the amount of real orange juice in commercially produced pasteurized orange juice. Currently, regulations require at least 10.5% orange juice soluble solids. This bill would lower that requirement to 10.0%, with the exception of any added sweeteners. The goal is to better reflect the composition of genuine orange juice and support domestic orange juice production.
