IN THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES
A BILL
To amend the Homeland Security Act of 2002 to improve the transparency of the Nonprofit Security Grant Program, and for other purposes.
This Act may be cited as the Nonprofit Security Grant Program Transparency Act
.
Subsection (e) of section 2009 of the Homeland Security Act of 2002 (6 U.S.C. 609a) is amended to read as follows:
The number of such applications submitted to the Administrator by any such State.
The number of grants to be so made in such set, disaggregated by the following categories:
State.
High-risk urban area (as applicable).
The aggregate amount of such grants in such set, disaggregated by such categories.
The name of such organization.
The address of such organization, including the State in which such organization is located.
Whether such organization is located in a high-risk urban area and, if so, the identification of such area.
The amount of such grant.
The number of applications for such a grant, submitted to such State by such an organization.
The number of such grants made.
The aggregate amount of such grants.
Of such amounts, each amount retained under subsection (c)(2).
For each recipient of such a grant, the expenditure by such recipient of the amount of such grant not so retained.
For each high-risk urban area in which such a recipient is located, the following:
The number of such grants made.
The aggregate amount of such grants.
The operations of the program office of the Program, including staffing resources and efforts with respect to subparagraphs (A) through (D) of subsection (c)(1).
