Bill overview
This bill, the Apache County and Navajo County Conveyance Act of 2025, directs the Forest Service to transfer two parcels of land within the Apache-Sitgreaves National Forest to Navajo County and Apache County, Arizona. Both counties must use the land as cemeteries, and they are responsible for covering all associated costs, including surveys and environmental assessments. If the land is not used as a cemetery, it will revert back to the United States.
