This bill, the La Paz County Solar Energy and Job Creation Act, directs the Department of the Interior to transfer approximately 3,400 acres of Bureau of Land Management land in Arizona to La Paz County. Furthermore, the land will be withdrawn from federal mining and mineral leasing laws, with proceeds from the sale directed to a federal account.
