Overview
This bill awards a Congressional Gold Medal posthumously to Welles Remy Crowther, a volunteer firefighter and equities trader who heroically rescued survivors at the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001. Known as "The Man in the Red Bandanna," Crowther’s bravery and selflessness during the tragedy are being recognized.
