Bill overview
This bill directs the Secretary of Commerce to study how artificial intelligence (AI) can be used to enhance the security of telecommunications networks. The study will examine both the benefits, such as improved threat detection and increased network resilience, and potential risks associated with AI in this area. It also requires the Secretary to consult with the Federal Communications Commission and industry stakeholders, and to produce a report with potential legislative recommendations for Congress.
