The Protect Older Job Applicants Act of 2025 (POJA Act) aims to strengthen protections against age discrimination in the job application process. It prohibits employers from unfairly limiting, segregating, or classifying job applicants based on their age. The bill also directs the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) to conduct a study of age discrimination claims received since 2015 to better understand the scope of the problem and recommend preventative measures.
