Bill overview
This bill would provide Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) employees with an additional four weeks of unpaid parental leave. This leave would be available to employees who welcome a child through birth or adoption/foster care. The leave would be in addition to any existing leave benefits the employee may already be entitled to. The goal of this legislation is to support VA employees as they navigate the challenges and joys of becoming parents.
