Bill overview
This bill creates a program allowing members of the armed forces to participate in congressional fellowships through the Skillbridge program. It expands the existing Skillbridge program to include opportunities for military personnel to work in congressional offices, leadership positions, and committees. The fellowships would be overseen by the Department of Defense and would provide training on the legislative process and congressional procedures. The program is capped at 180 days per fellowship.
