Bill overview
This bill establishes a pilot program to improve access to high-quality early child care for members of the Armed Forces and their families. The program will partner with eligible child care providers across the country to increase capacity, enhance workforce development, and recruit/retain employees. It will focus on establishing partnerships at diverse military installations and near existing DoD programs, while also considering geographic diversity and community needs. The program will be overseen by the Department of Defense and require regular reporting to Congress on its progress and effectiveness.
