Bill overview
This bill establishes the Intelligence Community Technology Bridge Fund to help businesses and nonprofit organizations transition innovative products and services from research and development to production phases. The fund, administered by the Director of National Intelligence, will provide assistance – in the form of grants, payments, or equity – to organizations working with the intelligence community on research and development. Priority will be given to small businesses and nontraditional contractors, and the fund will require an attestation that the technology will be used by the intelligence community to address a specific need.
