Bill overview
This bill requires the Department of Education to make more information available about career and technical education (CTE) programs. Specifically, it mandates the Department to publish data on program costs, completion times, and employment rates, as well as information about state-level CTE opportunities and Workforce Pell Grants. Furthermore, the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) will include a section acknowledging that CTE programs are an alternative to a four-year degree and a summary of the available data.
