Bill overview
The Mentoring to Succeed Act of 2025 aims to support youth mentoring programs across the United States. It establishes a competitive grant program for community-based organizations and partnerships to create, expand, or enhance mentoring initiatives for in-school, out-of-school, and at-risk youth. These programs will focus on developing cognitive and social-emotional skills, preparing youth for high school, postsecondary education, and the workforce, and connecting youth with mentors. The bill also directs the Department of Labor to study mentoring programs and provide resources to grant recipients.
