The RISE from Trauma Act aims to improve the identification and support of children and families who have experienced trauma. It proposes to establish local coordinating bodies to prevent and mitigate the impact of trauma and promote resilience within communities. The bill also seeks to expand the Performance Partnership Pilot program to include more disconnected youth and prioritize communities facing high rates of trauma.
