Overview
This bill directs the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) to transfer approximately 3.372 acres of land in Anchorage, Alaska, to the Southcentral Foundation (SCF) for use in providing health and social services. The transfer will be made through a warranty deed, without requiring any payment from SCF or imposing any conditions on the organization. Furthermore, the bill protects both SCF and HHS from liability for environmental contamination that occurred before or after SCF’s control of the property, subject to reasonable access for HHS.
