Bill overview
The Access to Fair Financing for Opportunity and Resilient Development Act amends the Community Development Banking and Financial Institutions Act of 1994 to require the Treasury Secretary to testify before Congress annually about the Fund's operations. It also aims to improve the CDFI Bond Guarantee Program by increasing the minimum guarantee amount and extending the program’s duration, and provides capital assistance to community development financial institutions. Furthermore, the bill establishes a Native CDFI relending program to support homeownership opportunities for Native communities and tribes.
