Bill overview
The Veterans Accessibility Advisory Committee Act of 2025 establishes a new committee within the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) to improve accessibility for veterans with disabilities. Before forming this committee, the VA must eliminate or combine inactive advisory committees. The committee will advise the Secretary on how to make VA information, services, benefits, facilities, and technology more accessible, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations. It will also submit regular reports to Congress and the public outlining accessibility challenges and recommendations for improvement.
