Bill overview
This House Resolution seeks to allow Congress to consider and potentially disapprove of three separate rules. First, it aims to consider a joint resolution disapproving a Department of Energy rule regarding energy conservation standards for gas water heaters. Second, it intends to consider a joint resolution disapproving an Environmental Protection Agency rule related to waste emissions charges for natural gas systems. Finally, it provides a mechanism for Congress to consider and vote on the concurrent resolution establishing the federal budget for fiscal year 2025 and the subsequent years.
