Bill overview
This resolution changes the rules of the House of Representatives to allow members to request an end to district work periods. It establishes a process where any member can submit a letter to the Clerk requesting an end to a district work period, which would be publicly recorded and tracked. If a majority of House members agree with the request, the current district work period will end within two days, and the Speaker will be limited in their ability to schedule another district work period for three weeks.
