Overview
This bill requires Alabama’s state, county, and municipal law enforcement agencies to report the number of sworn officers they employ to the Alabama Criminal Justice Information Commission annually. The Alabama State Law Enforcement Agency will compile this data and publish it on the agency’s website. The bill also increases penalties for agencies that fail to submit these reports on time.
