Overview
This bill allows Cleburne County to begin accepting electronic filings for business personal property taxes. The Cleburne County Revenue Commissioner will establish the necessary procedures and file format for these electronic submissions. Starting October 1, 2026, certain business personal property tax returns, including those from leasing businesses and those with significant assets, will need to be filed electronically. The county will also provide assistance to taxpayers transitioning to this new system.
