Overview
This bill extends the period during which lodging taxes in Etowah County do not apply to accommodations. Currently, lodging taxes cease applying after 30 days of continuous lodging. This bill increases that timeframe to 180 continuous days, starting October 1, 2026. The bill also includes technical revisions to update existing code language.
