Overview
This bill allows Alabama’s public colleges and universities to accept scores from the Classic Learning Test (CLT) as a way for students to demonstrate college readiness. It aims to provide students with more testing options and aligns the CLT’s acceptance with the existing standards for the ACT and SAT. The Alabama Commission on Higher Education and each college’s board of trustees will determine how the CLT scores are used in admissions decisions.
