Overview
This bill, the Bill of Rights in the Classroom Act, requires Alabama public schools to display a standardized version of the Bill of Rights in classrooms and on local school board websites. The State Department of Education will create and distribute this standardized version, and parents can report instances of noncompliance. If a local board of education fails to comply, a court can order corrective action and award attorney fees to the successful plaintiff.
