Bill overview
This bill changes how members are appointed to the county fair and recreation board in Nevada counties with populations between 100,000 and 700,000. Currently, three board members select nominees for the remaining board seats. The bill simplifies this process by requiring the existing board members to appoint all six additional members. It also changes the process for electing the board chair, requiring the board members to elect a chair from among themselves, rather than from the initial appointing bodies.
