Bill overview
This bill allows the Administrator of the State Public Works Division to rent or lease rooms in the Capitol Building for events, in coordination with the Museum Director. It establishes a system for collecting fees from these rentals, which must be used solely for Capitol Building maintenance and will not revert to the general fund. The bill also creates an exception to the existing prohibition against selling alcohol in the Capitol Building for events held pursuant to this new authorization.
