Bill overview
This bill defines and regulates ‘private paramilitary organizations’ in Nevada. It establishes that a group of three or more people organizing for combat or security functions is considered a private paramilitary organization if they are armed with dangerous weapons and engage in certain activities. The Attorney General is authorized to investigate these organizations, issue investigative demands, seek injunctions, and allow injured parties to sue for damages. Certain groups, such as the National Guard and veterans’ organizations, are exempt from these regulations.
