Bill overview
This bill changes the rules about Nevada elected officials running for different offices. Currently, an official can file for multiple offices, but this bill requires them to resign from their current office before filing for another one, unless their current term is expiring within 12 months. Certain officials, like Supreme Court justices and judges, are exempt from this requirement.
