Bill overview
This bill changes how storage facility owners must advertise the sale of a tenant's belongings to satisfy a lien. Currently, they need to place ads in a local newspaper for two weeks. This new law requires them to advertise in a newspaper of general circulation at least once the week before the sale. If no such newspaper exists, they can now post the advertisement on a publicly accessible website instead of using physical postings.
